If your ORYS jewelry is made entirely of 14K gold, you don’t need to take them off to shower or swim unless you want to. If your jewelry contains non-metal components, like our Cord Bracelet, we advise you to avoid getting it wet to preserve its color and longevity. 

For all our jewelry we advise that you avoid having them come into direct contact with perfumes or cosmetics until they are dry on the skin. This reduces the chance that any alcohol or other chemicals do not cause discoloration to the gold.

It is best to remove jewelry during workouts to prevent scratches, bending, or loosening of the stones.

Our stud earrings have 8mm posts. 

Our earrings were designed with the earlobe in mind. However if you have a particular request for an earring designed for a different location, drop us a line and we will add it to our discussions for our next product drop.

Yes! White gold naturally has a slightly warm tone, so we plate it with rhodium, a naturally bright, durable metal. This gives your jewelry a brilliant, reflective finish while protecting it from scratches and tarnish.

Over time, rhodium plating can wear down with regular use. We recommend having it professionally replated every 1–2 years to restore its bright finish and keep it looking like new.
